The managing committee respectively acquires one annual topic as guideline, which is interdisciplinarily concretized in conferences and advanced training meetings. During the corresponding symposium the GTF also interacts with national and international speakers that contribute to the selected discourse.

A selection of the lectures, partially complemented with further relevant contributions will be published in a yearbook (Jahrbuch Tanzforschung).
